Studio Policies and Procedures


24-Hour Policy

We offer three policies to assure your purchase is an easy one to enjoy… one free mat class, no membership fees and no expiration dates.

We always strive to be accommodating, however, as a cash-flow business, selling private times and class spaces, we maintain a strict “24-Hour notice” policy.

Although policies like these can be uncomfortable, please understand: finding replacements for late cancellations is not only a matter of limited, last-minute, replacement options, but also, the time involved inreaching and coordinating possible fill-ins. Additionally, one or more persons canceling late can significantly affect a class size causing it to become too small and subsequently cancelled or can cause a person who is wait-listed to miss out.

We are never upset with late cancellations, and we appreciate your call if you cannot attend. We will simply mark your missed session as taken. Due to multiple late cancellations each week, each with their own complicated circumstances, we charge in full for late-cancellations regardless of whether or not a replacement is found.

A full exception to this policy applies if you are sick or have a family emergency. Please call and inform us so you will not be charged. Likewise, if we have an emergency or are sick, please understand if we cancel.


Refunds and Transfers

Because we offer one free class, no membership fees, no expiration dates and the freedom to convert privates to mats or mats to privates, we do not offer refunds or transfers.


Illness Policy

Please call and cancel classes or privates if you are sick. Please include “coming down with” or “just getting over” an illness.

Some infections (bronchitis, colds, flu, etc.) are contagious for the duration of the symptoms and can last for several weeks. Additionally, some of our clients are pregnant, on immune system suppressing drugs, planning weddings, vacations etc. Please go home, get rest, and get well.

There is never a charge for missing an appointment due to illness.


Change of Situation Policy

Please be sure to tell us if you are pregnant, newly injured or physically vulnerable in any way.


Class Overflow Policy

On rare occasion a class may overfill. To avoid confusion, those who are signed up in advance have priority for a space  until 5 minutes after class begins. At that point, vacant spaces will be taken by wait-listed clients and walk-ins in that order.
